Cooking Guidelines

If you've picked up one of our take and bake or hand made items take a look here for the best way to cook them!

Beef Wellington:

Preheat oven to 400F. Brush top of wellington with egg wash if desired. Place wellington on cookie sheet and bake in oven for 20-25 minutes for medium rare. For med-well cook for an additional 5-8 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes (it will continue to cook while resting).

Potstickers:

Heat large saucepan over medium heat. Add enough cooking oil to thinly cover the bottom of the pan (1-2 tbsp). Add approximately 8-10 potstickers to the pan separated enough so they are not touching and cook for 2-3 minutes. After 2 minutes add 1/3 cup broth or water to the pan. Turn heat to low, cover, and cook for 2-3 more minutes until internal temperature reaches 165F.

Sweet Chipotle Pork Ribs:

Cook on high heat using either a grill or oven for 5-8 minutes per side, flipping once. Cook until internal temperature reaches 160F.

Broths, Soups, and Stews:

Place in a stock pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Corned Beef:

Soak for 3 hours to overnight depending on desired saltiness. Longer soak means less salty. Use in boiled/jig's dinner or however you like!

Tourtiere:

Fresh: Preheat oven to 375F. Place tourtiere on cookie sheet and brush with egg wash if desired. Bake for 45-60 minutes until crust is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165F.

Frozen: Preheat oven to 350F. Place tourtiere on cookie sheet and brush with egg wash if desired. Bake for 60-80 minutes until crust is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165F.

J-Pops:

Fresh: Preheat oven to 375F. Place J-Pops on a cookie sheet and bake 20-30 minutes until bacon is somewhat crispy and/or internal temp reaches 165F.

Frozen: Preheat oven to 350F. Place J-Pops on a cookie sheet and bake 30-40 minutes until bacon is somewhat crispy and/or internal temp reaches 165F.

Stuffed Mushrooms:

Fresh: Preheat oven to 375F. Place stuffed mushrooms on cookie sheet. Bake for approx 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F.

Frozen: Preheat oven to 350F. Place stuffed mushrooms on cookie sheet. Bake for approx 20-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160F.

Cabbage Rolls:

Preheat oven to 375F. Place cabbage rolls in casserole dish and cover in tomato sauce. Bake for 20-25 minutes or internal temp reaches 165F.

Chorizo Lasagna:

Preheat oven to 375F. Remove plastic lid and place tray on a baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes (60 minutes if frozen) or until internal temperature reaches 165F.

Beef Wellington Bites and Sausage Rolls:

Fresh: Preheat oven to 425F. Place wellingtons on cookie sheet, egg wash if desired, and bake for 15 - 20 minutes until puff pastry is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165F.

Frozen: Preheat oven to 400F. Place wellingtons on cookie sheet, egg wash if desired, and bake for 25 - 30 minutes until puff pastry is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165F.

Blood Pudding:

Slice in to 1/2" discs and remove casing. Pan fry in butter or cooking oil for 1-2 minutes per side until internal temp reaches 165F.

Breakfast Stacks:

Preheat oven to 375F. Place breakfast stack(s) on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F and puff pastry is golden brown.

Mac n' Cheese:

Fresh: Preheat oven to 375F. Remove plastic lid, place foil container on baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 min or until internal temp reaches 165F/cheese begins to brown.

Frozen: Preheat oven to 350F, bake for 45 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165F.

Mac n' Cheese Bites:

Preheat oven to 425F. Place Mac n' Cheese bites on cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Shepherd's Pie:

Fresh: Preheat oven to 350F. Remove plastic lid. Bake for 35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F.

Frozen: Preheat oven to 350F, bake for 45-60 min or until internal temp reaches 165F.
