Class 5 Delivery Driver and Market Set Up - 

We are looking for a delivery driver to help us with some of our off site jobs. This position is not full time but is over 4 days a week so the ideal candidate would be in a semi-retirement phase or working nights and looking for extra money to supplement. 

This is a driving position for a Class 5 Dodge Promaster; so a large cube van. The position entails making deliveries throughout the HRM peninsula as well as down town. Additionally; this position will require going to the various market locations and setting up the market stalls.

Non Negotiables for this Position:

• A positive can do attitude

• Strong attention to detail

• Clean drivers abstract (insurance requirement) and 1 year experience driving a commercial van.

• The ability to lift, push and pull 50 lbs consistently.

• Professional in appearance and mannerisms. 

• Driving knowledge of HRM.

The work schedule for this position is the following:

    Tuesdays: Begins at 1200 pm for approximately 2 to 3 hours doing deliveries to restaurants around the city. 

    Thursdays: Begins at 1230 pm for approximately 4 hours doing deliveries to restaurants around the city. 

    Fridays: Begins at 130 pm for approximately 4 hours going to different markets, delivering product and setting up market        stalls. 

    Saturdays: Begins at 1230 pm for approximately 4 hours. Going to markets, picking up staff and product and doing               deliveries to restaurants.

We are offering this position as a piece work position as a flat $100 per shift; depending on the driver and how quickly they move and maneuver the city will effect how long the job takes each day. The person currently doing the role completes the job in under the list time frame. The person doing this role in the past took longer then the times listed above.
